UK Traditional Archers’ International Association
(Company Number – 16696645; est. 05.09.2025)
On November 1st, 2025, the World Traditional Archery Federation (WTAF) was officially established in the city of Ulsan, South Korea. The General Assembly occurred concurrently with the inaugural Traditional Archery World Cup and took place at Ulsan City Hall, attended by representatives from 32 founding member countries. The non-profit UK Traditional Archers’ International Association (UK-TAIA) received official recognition, appointment, and approval from the Board as the exclusive representative for the UK, with Kristina Dolgilevica, the founder and president of UK-TAIA, serving as the signatory, thereby securing full membership status for the UK.
UK-TAIA’s Function and Objectives
As the director and representative Kristina aims to raise the quality and standards of traditional archery practice in the UK and bring UK traditional archers on to the global stage by 1) championing inclusion of the UK in international projects and other emerging global federations, 2) seeking out and providing best networking and collaboration opportunities, 3) assisting and supporting projects aimed at preserving and promoting centuries-old British archery traditions on the global stage for all relevant archery groups based in the UK, 4) serving as the liaison between the WTAF and the UK traditional archers.
Founder and President
Kristina Dolgilevica

Kristina Dolgilevica, widely recognised as the editor of Bow International Magazine, serves as an archery development coach and a dedicated advocate and practitioner of traditional archery, maintaining significant connections with South Korea and Türkiye. Over the past five years, she has made substantial efforts to elevate the UK and its rich archery culture within the context of the newly established federation. Her motivation stemmed from the UK’s absence from the international traditional tournament arena for more than a decade; notably, she was the sole UK representative at the 2022 World Nomad Games in Iznik, Türkiye, and was also the sole representative at the inaugural 2025 World Cup in South Korea:
“Archery is my biggest passion – I love everything about it. Knowing how much there is for the traditional archer on the international scene today, I feel the UK archers should rightfully join the vibrant global traditional archery community, enjoy the same benefits and share the history with the rest of the world. My sound international reputation, many skill sets, energy, and love for archery will take the UK archers to the international shooting lines and the podiums. Being part of the international community helps not only the sport, but the culture, the arts, and the crafts linked to traditional archery, it helps put history in the spotlight, so it continues to live on. I am always happy to talk, so please feel free to get in touch k.dolgilevica@uk-taia.org”.
